Enso Cloud is a Content Management System and cloud-based web hosting platform that really benefits two groups. It makes website creation and design far easier for web designers, and it makes website management and updates far easier for the customers of web designers. This increases customer satisfaction for the end user, who can edit their site so long as they understand how to use a web browser. The web designer can also create web sites much faster thanks to Enso Cloud’s templates and tags, which increases the designer’s productivity and income potential by leaps and bounds. The Cloud Based hosting, hosted by Rackspace Cloud, creates a web page experience that is both super-fast and super-reliable. Responsive customer support rounds out the package of advantages for designers.Show more screenshots »
Enso Cloud was founded by Chris Miller and Nik Levinsky in 2008 and seems to have gathered a dedicated core of users in the web design community. There are many prominent end-users as well, creating an impressive client list that is featured on the Enso Cloud website.
Enso Cloud is a unique content management system app. While there are others out there, there are none that provide the unique functionality. When an end-user wants to edit their site they will be bypassing control panels, site maps, and all behind-the-scenes functions. Instead, everything they can edit will be in blue. This means the user could simply click on a picture that they wanted to change and be asked which picture they’d like to put in its place. That’s all: a process so simple that anyone who can use a browser will find it familiar and easy.
The look and feel of the app depends upon who is using it and for what purpose. For end-users the app is used on their own website, outlining everything they can edit in blue during the edit mode. Web designers are presented with a clean site with easy instructions for adapting their design process to the Enso Cloud CMS.
The registration process applies to web designers who would like to use the app to create web pages for clients. Users give their name, e-mail address, and password. End-users wouldn’t sign up on Enso Cloud.
There are four payment plans for Enso Cloud. The Individual plan is $19 per month. The Start-up plan is $49 per month. The Business plan is $69 per month, and adds phone support. The Enterprise plan is $99 per month. Most plans offer daily back-ups. The plans all come with increasing levels of storage and bandwidth, as well.
Web designers will benefit from using Enso Cloud. It will allow them to pass a great deal of value on to their end-users while streamlining their own creation processes. This is an app with a very specific audience and anybody outside of that audience will have trouble understanding the application, let alone using it. While end-users will certainly benefit the app itself really is for the designers. Amateur website builders or builders who don’t really understand the technical side of web design will not get much use out of the application.
